Brief

I was hired to help international bestselling author, Barry Lopez, in the final stages of finishing the “Horizon” manuscript, manage his website and social media accounts, and liaise with his press, publisher and other media contacts and authors. There is an extraordinary amount of detail that goes into taking a book from “written” to “published” and Barry, ever detail-oriented, wanted to ensure he didn’t miss any crucial steps. I was hired to assistant and help manage the process.

Deliverables

I worked with Barry to ensure “Horizon,” graphics within it, references, and facts were checked and accurate. I also helped run Barry’s website and social media accounts, keeping them up-to-date and ensuring new information, including book promotions and media mentions, were shared in a timely manner. I helped Barry rework some of his short stories and articles and even occasionally had the huge honor of being asked to give my opinion on his incredible work.
